Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the western parts of the North West, western Free State, northwestern KwaZulu-Natal and the northeastern parts of the Eastern Cape.

Light rain is expected in the southwestern parts of the Western Cape as a cold front heads for the coast.
Isolated showers are expected along the coast west of Cape St Francis in the western half of the Eastern Cape.
Showers are expected in the south of KwaZulu-Natal.
Temperatures
Minimum temperatures are expected to remain cool to cold across most of the country, with very cold conditions in the southern parts of the Northern Cape.
The coldest place is expected to be Sutherland in the Northern Cape, dropping to a below-freezing -9°C.
Maximum temperatures are expected to remain warm across most of the country. Hot conditions are expected in the extreme northern parts, while cool conditions are expected to remain in the south.
The warmest place is expected to be Skukuza in Mpumalanga, reaching a high of 33°C.

Pretoria is expected to reach a high of 28°C, while Johannesburg is expected to reach a maximum of 26°C. Bloemfontein is expected to reach a high of 25°C.
Along the coast, Cape Town is expected to reach a high of 15°C, while Port Elizabeth is expected to reach a maximum of 22°C and Durban reaches a high of 24°C.
