Wednesday's weather: Fine and cool weather for most of SA

Wednesday will be a fine and cool day for most of the country with some places experiencing morning fog patches, according to the South African Weather Service.

Gauteng will be fine and cool.

The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.

It will be fine and cool in Mpumalanga, but warm in the Lowveld.

It will become partly cloudy in the east from the afternoon.

Limpopo will experience fine and cool to warm conditions becoming partly cloudy in the extreme east from the afternoon.

The North West and Free State will be fine and cool.

The Northern Cape will be cool over the southern interior with morning frost on the high-ground, otherwise fine and warm.

The wind along the coast will be light and variable in the morning, otherwise moderate southerly to south-easterly.

There will be morning fog patches in places over the south-west of the Western Cape where it will be cool, otherwise fine and warm.

The wind along the coast will be light and variable along the west coast becoming southerly to south-easterly late morning, otherwise moderate to fresh north-westerly, becoming light south-westerly along the south coast mid-morning.

The expected UVB sunburn index is low.

Fine and warm, cloudy and foggy conditions can be expected in the Eastern Cape.

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly.

There will be morning fog patches over the interior of KwaZulu-Natal, otherwise it will be fine and cool becoming partly cloudy in the east from the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly north of Richards Bay, otherwise moderate to fresh easterly to north- easterly.

The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.
