Malema: Land is everything

Bloemfontein - If you have land you have everything, Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema said on Sunday.

"The demand for land starts today [Sunday]," Malema told a gathering of the Tyrannus Apostolic Church of Apostle Simon Mokoena at the Botshabelo stadium.

He asked them to join the struggle for land. Malema also commended the church for being disciplined. He said not many churches had the power to keep the youth in a hall for a day over a weekend. He told the youth to never be ashamed for who they were and that they represented the future.

He said with the youth throwing its weight behind you, anything was possible.

"If you have the youth, you have nothing to complain about," he said.

Malema told congregates not to be swallowed up into a European style change and that they should remain an African church.
