From Zodwa Wabantu to 90 Day Fiancé's Syngin Colchester, we reached out to some of our celebrity friends, to find out what they are currently watching on TV.

Just like the rest of us, celebrities are plopping on the couch during the lockdown, getting comfortable with their favourite snacks and getting their binge on.

From DStv to Netflix and Showmax, here's what your favourite stars can't get enough of right now.

1. Kurt Darren - Uncorked, MasterChef

I'm really into great food and wine, so I watched Uncorked on Netflix last night, I really enjoyed the way that the world of the sommelier was portrayed as Dunay and I have loved collecting wine during our travels over the years, we actually went on a fine-dining cruise in Europe last year with Jenny Morris and tasted some of the world's top 100 wines.

We also experiment with our meals each day while binge-watching MasterChef on DStv, other than that the kids are keeping us very busy!

On that note, our hearts go out to all the people out there are alone at this surreal time, I'm attempting some Insta live chats to give them some company at least. Please stay safe, and we'll get through this!

2. Siv Ngesi - Still Breathing, Unorthodox

I'm watching my TV show Still Breathing, and I promise that it's just not because I'm in it. It's amazing and top-notch local content.

The best thing that I've seen on Netflix is Unorthodox. It's a masterpiece and completely blew my mind. I can already predict that the lead actress Shira Haas will be winning lots of awards for her portrayal of Esther Shapiro. She really is phenomenal!

3. Liezel van der Westhuizen - Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Find me something funnier than Brooklyn Nine-Nine currently streaming on Netflix; I dare you!

I re-watch the absolutely hilarious show almost weekly because it has all the ingredients needed to make staying inside a treat:

A procedural cop drama with a talented, diverse cast (which everyone can find something of themselves in). Not to mention an adorable Corgi named Cheddar, who steals the scene, any time our screens are blessed with her fluffy tail.

It makes sense why so many fans and celebrities (like Lin-Manual Miranda, thee Luke Skywalker Mark Hamill, Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro, and more) rallied when the show's original network cancelled the show."

4. Zodwa Wabantu - CBS Reality (DStv 132)

We are currently watching documentaries on CBS Reality. I enjoy it because I think it's such an eye-opener and it tells touching stories that one can learn from.

We also follow news and live reporting on eNCA, so we can stay informed about what's happening around the world, even though we are indoors and practising self-isolation.

5. Syngin Colchester - Tiger King

Other than driving Tania crazy, I just want to let you guys know what how I'm keeping busy during lockdown. If there is one show I can recommend, it's Tiger King on Netflix. There are so many bits and pieces to the show that will keep you glued. There is everything from murder to animal cruelty, drugs and guns - it is so crazy.

And my opinion is that Joe burnt down the studio to cover up what he said on the tapes, just saying...

Other than that, my hands are cramping from putting together a couple of puzzles, and I've been gardening. Let's all try and make the best out of a bad situation during these uncertain times.

6. Thando Thabethe - Survivor, Self Made

I'm watching my usual favourite Survivor on Showmax. Anyone who knows me well knows I'm obsessed with that show, and hopefully, I'll be part of it one day.

I've also really enjoyed watching Self Made, it's well written, and I always enjoy watching anything with a strong female lead - Octavia Spencer once again kills it.

And then a lot of my colleagues don't enjoy watching themselves, but I don't mind, it's also an opportunity for me to review my work. I've been watching Housekeepers, Love Lives Here, Mrs Right Guy. These titles are also available to stream on Showmax
