500 Gauteng motorcyclists held a mass ride to highlight safety concerns on farms, smallholdings and other rural areas over the weekend.
Police escorted the convoy from the Centurion Lifestyle Centre to the Portuguese Club in Pretoria West.
SAPS Acting Divisional Commissioner for Visible Policing, Lieutenant General Sharon Jephta, was on hand to receive a memorandum on behalf of the National Police Commissioner.
Jephta assured the riders that the police will continue to work together with all stakeholders in the fight against crime.
The bikers committed themselves to working alongside police to curb farm attacks and murders.
