WATCH | Amy'Leigh's alleged kidnappers apply for bail

Three people accused of kidnapping 6-year-old Amy'Leigh de Jager outside her school on September 2, 2019 are expected to appear in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate's Court on Thursday to apply for their release on bail.

The three accused are suspended Laerskool Kollegepark Grade RR teacher Tharina Human, Pieter Jacobus van Zyl and Laetitia Nel.

Human was a close friend of the De Jager family.

On September 2, four men snatched Amy'Leigh from her mother's car at Laerskool Kollegepark in Vanderbijlpark at around 07:40 and drove off in a white Toyota Fortuner, News24 previously reported.
