Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan has wrapped up his testimony at the judicial commission of inquiry into state capture, and former national Treasury Director General Lungisa Fuzile takes the stand.
Gordhan on Tuesday told chairperson Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo that he refused to schedule a meeting with the Gupta family and said an invitation he received from the family to a Sun City wedding found its "way into the waste basket, where it belonged".
Meanwhile, hundreds of EFF supporters gathered outside in the rain calling for Gordhan to step down.
EFF leader Julius Malema addressed the crowd and declared that the political party had decided to fight against Gordhan."Our attack on Pravin Gordhan is an attack on white monopoly capital (WMC) because Pravin is the dog of WMC."We must host the dog until the owner comes out, and when the owner comes out we will deal with him," Malema told a large group of people picketing outside the Tiso Blackstar venue hosting the commission of inquiry.
