"I understand the charges."
Those were the few words spoken by Luyanda Botha in the Western Cape High Court on Friday morning.
State advocate Rodney de Kock read out a list of charges, including two counts of rape and murder. Botha pleaded guilty to all charges.
The former South Africa Post Office worker was handed three life sentences for the rape and murder of UCT student Uyinene Mrwetyana.
