Warsaw - Polish flight operator Eurolot SA says a chartered plane headed from Turkey to Poland and owned by Ukraine's YanAir airline made an emergency landing in Bulgaria. No one was hurt.
Eurolot spokesperson Karolina Bursa said on Wednesday that the pilot of the Airbus 320 flight K2 6242 from Antalya to Poznan "decided to make a landing in the port of Burgas, Bulgaria", because a "need emerged during the flight to check one of the systems".
She said security procedures in such cases require landing at the nearest airport.
Bursa said experts were checking a system that is responsible, among other things, for the air conditioning. Passengers are expected to continue their journey on another plane.
