Elena Karimova (27) is alleged to have strangled her children in the back seat of her car before burning their bodies.
According to Metro, now footage has from a petrol station where she bought her daughter, Khadizha (4) and son, Suleiman (2) chocolate bars.
In the video she is acting casual, as she pays in advance for a Snickers bar and some lighter fuel.
The Russian woman, who has a following of about 27,000 people for her Instagram cosmetics business was arrested and detained on murder charges nine months ago.
The case is said to go to court soon. The shocking CCTV video was released yesterday.
In the video, Elena can be seen going back to the hired Kia Rio to fill up before returning to the shop to pick up the items, reports The Sun.
She is believed to have murdered her children an hour later, before taking their bodies to woodland in Nizhny Novgorod, western Russia, where she used the lighter fluid to set them on fire.
According to The Mirror, Elena feared that the locals would see the smoke, so used water to extinguish the flames on their burning bodies and allegedly put the charred remains into her car.
She then went home for the night with the bodies in the car, it is alleged.
It's claimed that the next day, she brought the burned corpses to an abandoned warehouse near the city and set the building on fire.
Firefighter who attended to the scene said; “The bodies were so damaged only one leg remained, and it was impossible to identify the gender of the corpses.”
People noticed Elena's car at the scene and police interrogated her leading to her full confession, detectives told The Sun.
“I couldn’t provide for my children,” it's claimed she told officers, blaming money problems for her actions.
However, she later retracted her admission.
Shocked family members and friends said her action was “totally out of character” and refused to believe she was capable of such barbarity.
Elena's mother Natalia Testenkova said: “We do not believe this.”
“She is the most loving mother. How could she kill her kids?
“We do not know what has happened, but we do not believe these are her kids that were found.
“I just cannot believe this is true,” she said to The Mirror.
