WATCH: At least one person injured by firework thrown into crowded bar

Police are looking for suspects that threw a lit firework into a crowded cocktail lounge in Asheville, North Carolina in the US, on Wednesday 1 August, Fox News reports.

Asheville police released footage of a SUV driving past the Rankin Vault Cocktail Lounge before the firework was thrown from the car, leaving patrons scrambling and ducking under tables and chairs, Fox News reports.

The SUV was light in colour and “similar to a Kia Sorrento”, police said.

A woman was hurt as sparks travelled through the open-aired bar, but police have confirmed her injuries weren’t life-threatening, 6abc Action News reports.
