WATCH: Thousands stranded in Thailand after Pakistan closes airspace

Thousands of travellers are stuck in Bangkok airport after Pakistan suddenly closed its airspace due to soaring tensions with India.

Thai Airways had cancelled all flights over Pakistan – European routes are among those affected, including London and Paris.

This is a blow to the national carrier during one of the country's most popular travel periods.
