Royal baby enthusiasm reached fever pitch yesterday at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s walkabout in the English town of Birkenhead, Merseyside, yesterday as couple delighted crowds by revealing more details about the pregnancy.

One spectator, who’d come to see the couple with her four-year-old daughter in tow, told People that the duchess revealed how far along she is in her pregnancy.

“We asked her how her pregnancy was going and she said she was six months and she tapped her tummy,” the woman said.

Meghan then told others in the crowd that she’s due in late April, Town and County reports.

The former actress and her prince also spoke about possible baby names but said that they don’t know the gender of their baby.

When announcing the pregnancy in October 2018, Kensington Palace released a statement saying that the pair are expecting their first baby in the spring of 2019 (autumn in South Africa).

There is also some speculation that the royal couple are expecting not one baby, but two.

The size of Meghan’s baby bump a month ago led to a flurry of bets on whether or not she’s having twins, Mirror reports.
