In four days of the sitting of COP28, governments and the private sector have pledged $57 billion (R1.078 trillion) to drive priority projects to limit climate change globally.

The conference, taking place in Dubai, has also made eight new declarations to transform every major system of the global economy, including the first declarations on food systems transformation and health.
