Reggie Mkhize, an accountant-turned-successful pig farmer, has defied the odds in South Africa’s agricultural landscape. Despite the challenges that plague the pig farming industry, Mkhize’s venture, S’bonekonke Farming, stands as a testament to perseverance and innovation.
His journey began modestly in 2015 in Brakpan with just 100 chickens. However, Mkhize soon discovered the untapped potential in pig farming and transitioned to this lucrative sector in 2019.
