Thousands of initiates male and female from Bushbuckridge return home after two months at the local initiation school.

This weekend, thousands of initiates returned home from the mountain in Mpumalanga, where they had completed a two-month course in this year’s Mapulana tribe initiation.

Thousands of parents drove back home to Bushbuckridge to their respective villages from Gauteng, North West and Mozambique to welcome their children who had been undergoing initiation since the beginning of June until last Friday.
