A millionaire who lost everything when he was charged with fraud, theft, money laundering and racketeering relating to a R48 million investment at Old Mutual is facing an uphill battle to get his assets back, following his acquittal last year.

The Pretoria Commercial Crimes Court vindicated Matthews Tuwani Mulaudzi in June 2022, following a seven-year trial that crumbled his business empire.
