While the ANC has hauled its financial manager, Nhlanhla Mabaso, before the disciplinary committee this week, relating to a R102 million scandal, the suspended official has dragged the party to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA).
City Press can reveal that, though the party settled the R102 million debt with Ezulweni Investments two months ago, the controversy surrounding the deal refuses to die. Insiders say Mabaso, who was suspended late last year after he was accused of being implicated in the saga, is scheduled to appear before the party this week, to answer to charges relating to his involvement in the case.
