After running without a sponsor for almost five years, the Soweto Marathon on Wednesday unveiled African Bank as the title sponsor for the tradition-steeped race. The race will be on November 5.

The launch follows three weeks of uncertainty on whether the marathon will go ahead or not after a statement purported to be from the race trustees had claimed that the race was off.
