South Africa-born, multidisciplinary artivist Thabo Thindi first arrived in Germany 15 years ago. It was never his aim for the move to be a permanent one. He had thought it would be for a few years maybe, and then he would be off to the next destination or return to South Africa.

For a period of little less than a year, he called Hoxter, a small town in central Germany, home, before setting off for Berlin where he lives to this day.
