In 2015 Bongang’s net worth was estimated at a cool R7,2 million, garnered from her endorsements as a global ambassador for the cosmetics brand Revlon and ambassador for Africa for Brazilian shoe brand Ipanema, which she took over from Gisele Bündchen.
It’s believed that she earned R500 000 to host the MTV Africa Music Awards in Johannesburg, and there’s also money coming in from her gigs as emcee at various events and presenting her ongoing radio show on Metro FM.
Her self-proclaimed number one fan, AKA, was estimated to have a net worth of about R6,6 million in 2015. In August he revealed that he charges about R90 000 to R130 000 per performance in a 30-minute slot, and recently bagged a gig as the face of Cruz Vodka South Africa.
