Food service company Bidcorp has increased its interim revenue by almost a quarter as it benefited from a record performance in Europe as well as growth in SA.
The company, which operates in over 35 countries, said on Wednesday that revenue grew by 24% to R114 billion in the six months to end-December, with trading profit up just over a fifth to R5.9 billion.
Bidcorp, valued at about R143.5 billion on the JSE, also increased its interim dividend about 19% to R5.25 per share. Its shares were down about 2% after the announcement but have still gained almost 15% over the past twelve months.
