On Sunday, Prince Christian's 18th birthday ended on a fairy tale note after one guest forgot a lone shoe at the Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen.
The shoe raised questions about who the mystery Cinderella was.
The Prince's elegant dinner gala, in celebration of his milestone birthday, featured royalty from across Europe. The high-profile guests dressed the part, donning tiaras, ball gowns and honour sashes.

After all of Sunday's extravagancies ended, a sparkling golden stiletto was found in the palace - its owner unknown.
The piece of fancy footwear was not made of glass, like in the beloved fairy tale, but that didn't stop the Danish royal house from making comparisons on Instagram.
"Is it Cinderella who forgot her shoe last night?" they wrote on the platform. Thus, the search... commenced.
They added: "When the guests at Her Majesty the Queen's gala dinner had gone home yesterday, this lonely stiletto shoe was left at Christiansborg Castle. The owner is welcome to contact us to get it back."
Besides the night's formalities, guests were also treated to a surprise concert set up by Queen Margrethe.
The royal house shared on Instagram: "The dance floor was set in motion when Benjamin Hav & Familien gave a concert after the gala dinner. The concert was Her Majesty the Queen's surprise for all the guests."
Second in line to the Danish throne, the Prince is the eldest son of Crown Prince Frederik (heir to the Danish throne) and Crown Princess Mary.
The Prince's grandmother, Queen Margrethe, is the longest-reigning monarch in Danish history.
The dinner gala featured numerous young royalty, including Belgium's 21-year-old Princess Elisabeth; Norway's 19-year-old Princess Ingrid Alexandra and her parents, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit; Sweden's 11-year-old Princess Estelle with her parents, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel; and Netherland's 19-year-old Princess Catharina-Amalia, who is the heir to the Dutch throne.
In 2022, Queen Margrethe stripped four of her eight grandchildren of their titles. This was to allow the four children of her youngest son, Prince Joachim, to live more normal lives.
Prince Joachim, along with his wife Princess Marie and three of their children, Felix, Henrik and Athena, attended the gala. However, their eldest son, Count Nikolai, did not attend due to studying abroad in Australia. Count Nikolai did send his well wishes to the Prince Christian.
