Cheryl Benadie, inspirational speaker and author of The Wholeness Revolution, grew up in a home tarnished by domestic violence.

She spoke to us about abusive homes and how they affect the children who grow up in them. She pointed to statistics like the fact that young girls who are raised in an abusive home where they witness domestic violence are “more than six times as likely to be sexually abused than a girl who grows up in a non-abusive home” and men from abusive homes are 10 times more likely to become abusers themselves.
