If vacations are described as "a leave of absence from a regular job", then a momcation is the ideal break from the taxing work of motherhood.
As the name suggests, a momcation is a vacation exclusively for moms, offering them a well-deserved break from the demands of daily life that include things like managing and doing household chores, nurturing families, coordinating schedules and generally being the omnipotent and omnipresent help in each family member's life.
But, when you have so many responsibilities, your own needs, and sometimes your health, end up falling further down your list of priorities as a mom. Removing a mother from her usual environment provides an opportunity for her to prioritise self-care, rest and rejuvenation, and this ultimately benefits the family unit.
