When it comes to aviation, the complete replacement of pilots by machines is highly unlikely, but AI has significantly impacted the industry, particularly in customer care services.

This is according to FlySafair's chief marketing officer Kirby Gordon, who highlighted the key trends dominating the aviation and travel industry post-Covid, both locally and internationally.

During a media roundtable held in Rosebank, Gordon discussed AI and mentioned ChatGPT's vision of a futuristic cockpit following a prompt.
