A brand-new Renault Kwid Life will be going home to a beaming owner at the end of this year, thanks to Engo’s Project of Hope.

The project, run on behalf of Engo Free State to raise funds for its extended operations across the province, is now in its 12th year.

The 2024 launch was held at Renault Bloemfontein on Friday, 16 February.

The public is invited to make a donation of R30 to qualify for the draw to win a Kwid Life, worth R196 999.

Alda Fourie, marketing manager at Engo, says there will also be a monthly lucky draw, in which R1 000 can be won.

The project will run for nine months, with the closing date being 15 November.

Until then, the Kwid will make an appearance at several events, including Bloem Show and festivals across the Free State where visitors will be able to make their donation and have a closer look at the car.

Finalists will be drawn at the end of November and the winner will be announced at a ceremony on Friday, 6 December.

De Wet Claassens, chief executive director of Engo, says by contributing to the Project of Hope, people can make a difference in more than 200 000 lives.

Engo is the second biggest charity organisation in South Africa, and the biggest in the Free State. The charity has 67 centres, houses, and offices across the province that have a huge impact on communities – supporting children, families, people with disabilities and people in hospitals, as well as facilitating adoption and caring for the elderly.

Central24, with its Free State newspapers BloemExpress, Vista, BloemNews and VrystaatKroon, is the media sponsor of Engo’s Project of Hope. The auditing process is controlled and verified by Evolve Audit and Advisory.

Read Central24’s local newspapers and follow their Facebook pages, in addition to following Engo on social media, to keep up to date with where the Renault Kwid Life with the Project of Hope branding will be next, to donate your R30 or more there.

Alternatively, visit engo.co.za.

Donations can also be made at all Engo offices, the Evolve office in Bloemfontein, and Central24’s head office in Bloemfontein at 107 Pres. Reitz Avenue.
