EASTERN Rangers Ladies’ FC has suffered their second defeat of the season, after a 2–1 final score against WSU Mthatha Campus.
Despite creating many goal-scoring chances, the Lusikisiki troops only converted once.
Speaking to Mthatha Express after the game, Eastern Rangers assistant coach, Wandile Dlamini, said they are accepting the defeat.
“The match was very good. Players played according to our plan, but there were those silly mistakes that we made,” he said.
“We lose focus, and we delay playing in some instances, but I am 100 percent happy with how the players performed.”
This coming Saturday, Eastern Rangers will face another tough task as they take the field to face the unbeaten Executive Ladies’ FC, who are at the top of the EC Sasol League Inland Stream.
