The sound of bagpipes, Scottish dancers, and unique dishes will be combined to make the first of its kind Kimberley Celtic Festival an unique experience.
Members of the Kimberley Regiment Pipes and Drums, Bloemfontein Scottish Pipe Band, and the Noleen Abraham’s School of Dance will perform at this event on Friday, 5 April, and Saturday, 6 April, at the Kimberley Moth Centre.
This is a fundraiser for the Kimberley-based shellholes (or clubs) of the Memorable Order of Tin Hats (Moth), and for the Kimberley Regiment Pipes and Drums, said the main organiser of the event, Marius Nagel.
Nagel said an estimated 17 bagpipers will perform. Food and drinks will also be made available.
Tickets cost R100 per adult, and R50 for children under 12 years of age.
