Sgt Samantha Adonis, police spokesperson, says the first shooting was around 06:00 on Friday, while the last incident was at 21:00 when four people were ambushed.
“The police are hunting for three suspects in Bonteheuwel after a woman was gunned down earlier Friday morning, 13 October. Friday evening around 21:00 gun fire erupted in the vicinity of Olyfberg. “Residents found four people shot of which two died on the scene and two wounded during an internal fight of the 28s in Bishop Lavis,” Adonis says.

“It is alleged that both 28 gang groupings are fighting for turf and settling old gang conflict scores,” says Adonis.
Both deceased and both victims found themselves at a well-known drug outlet, gambling when two unknown assailants approached them and opened fire.
Cases of murder and attempted murder are being investigated by the Bishop Lavis police’s serious and violent crimes unit and anti-gang unit detectives.
