News24 has launched a 14-day free trial on its subscriber only content to allow readers to experience the quality journalism that existing subscribers have become accustomed to.

You can now get a taste of the exclusive content offered behind News24's paywall before committing to a full subscription that guarantees you access to investigations and in-depth stories written by some of the best journalists in the country.

From award-winning exposés like the Exodus ¬documentary and the My Only Story podcast, which gave a voice to the voiceless, to investigative pieces that used cutting edge technology, like Killing Kinnear, your 14-day trial will provide access to the best News24 has to offer. The subscription gives you access to news from other Media24 publications, which include the City Press, YOU magazine and True Love.

As the country's largest news website with an average of 1.3 million daily users, News24 is offering you the opportunity to join the over 50 000 subscribers who are already investing in quality news from an award-winning team.

"Spend some time reading our premium content and you'll see that we are more dedicated than ever to holding power to account, exposing the truth, and building a reputable subscription offering to sustain the quality journalism that News24 readers have come to trust."
News24's editor-in-chief, Adriaan Basson

TinaShe Makwande, the General Manager of Digital Subscriptions at Media24, says that News24’s rapidly growing base of over 50 000 subscribers is an indication that citizens of South Africa and expats around the world are finding value in the publisher’s trusted news.

"For the first time since we launched our paywall, we are offering every reader a free 14 day trial to test-drive the News24 subscriber experience. Of course, trial subscribers are not obligated to pay should they choose to cancel; however, we are confident that they will choose to stay once they start reading the daily stories that our journalists diligently work on," says Makwande.

Reap all subscriber benefits such as investigative journalism, in-depth opinion and analyses, as well as access to premium content and newsletters .

In the unlikely event that you wish to cancel the free trial before it ends, you will not be billed. If you don't cancel, your subscription will continue at the normal price of just R75 per month.

The free trial is now available to you, claim yours here.
