Ex-Free State finance MEC clinches soft landing at water board after serving Magashule, Guptas

Elizabeth Rockman, the former Free State finance MEC and close ally of disgraced premier Ace Magashule, met Tony Gupta in 2013 and days after her meeting public money flowed to the shambolic Gupta-linked Vrede dairy project.

Now, just over 10 years since her questionable dealings with the Guptas, Rockman has yet again landed herself a cushy job as a board member of the  in the Free State.

During a press briefing on Thursday, Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni announced Rockman made the cut to be appointed alongside 10 other members.
