Following a protracted legal battle, the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) has succeeded in freezing the pension fund of two senior officials in Limpopo.

They were at the centre of irregular water upgrade tenders worth R3 billion.

In June 2019, Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) in the Mopani District of Limpopo terminated its contract with LTE Consulting Engineers, which was contracted to work on the Giyani Water Project.
