Ongoing talks of possible budget cuts by the National Treasury have angered the ANC's key alliance partners, with SA Communist Party (SACP) leader Solly Mapaila saying discussions of ending the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant are unacceptable as the ANC gears up for an election year.
