ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa has told survivors of a bus that crashed on its way to the party’s 112-anniversary celebrations in Mbombela that "they bear the scars and wounds on behalf of the ANC".
Ramaphosa addressed the survivors, who are members of the party, on Tuesday at Eisleben sports ground in Botlokwa, Limpopo.
The ANC president, accompanied by the party's second deputy secretary, Maropene Ramokgopa, was in Limpopo, where he visited the survivors in hospital and the families of the five ANC members who died.
