Cape Town lawyer William Booth dodged at least 7 attempts on his life. (Jaco Marais/Netwerk24)

Cape Town lawyer William Booth escaped at least seven attempts on his life, not just the one that hit the news on 9 April 2020, the Western Cape High Court has heard.

This emerged in the testimony of a witness who gave evidence in the trial of Nafiz Modack and 14 others on Tuesday, as well as information contained in a 2021 plea agreement.
