Agnes Segomotsi Setshwantsho, accused of killing her niece for over R3 million in life cover, is being investigated for three further deaths. These are in addition to the deaths of her husband, brother, son and two daughters whose deaths she is also being investigated for.

The Molopo Magistrate's Court in Mmabatho heard on Wednesday that Setshwantsho fraudulently took out numerous insurance policies using her funeral parlour, Setshwantsho and Son, on behalf of her relatives.

But three of those family members later died under mysterious circumstances, the court heard from investigating officer Sergeant Kheshi Mabunda who was testifying during her bail application.
