Cape Town can look forward to a bumper tourism year, according to predictions on the back of a strong performance during the festive season.
Cape Town Tourism CEO Enver Duminy said the organisation was "seeing good signs that the number of tourists coming to Cape Town will keep growing".
He estimated that visitor numbers would increase by between 3% and 11%. This could bring around R11.6 billion to Cape Town during the international peak season (January to April).
