Striking University of Pretoria (UP) employees were accused of blocking students from entering the main campus on Tuesday morning for a second day in a row.
The employees embarked on a strike last week, following a deadlock in negotiations between the National Education, Health and Allied Workers Union (Nehawu) and the university over wage increases.
On Monday, the protesting employees were accused of intimidating students and denying them access to the Hatfield campus.
