Five men were killed and another five were injured in a shooting at a house in Imizamo Yethu in Hout Bay, Cape Town, on Wednesday night.

Police spokesperson Colonel Andrè Traut said: "At around 19:00, unknown gunmen opened fire at the occupants of a house in Molokwane Street in Imizamo Yethu and a vehicle which was parked outside the house.

"Five men, aged between 20 and 45, did not survive the onslaught on their life while five other men were admitted to hospital with serious gunshot wounds," Traut added.
