Independent experts will investigate the cause of a collapsed building that was under construction in George while rescuers work to free 48 people who are still trapped under the rubble.
Premier Alan Winde told the media on Tuesday that the specialist engineers had been appointed to investigate the collapse and to establish "how it happened and why it happened".
However, he said the main priority remained the rescue of those who were trapped under the rubble.
