Omar Badsha, celebrated documentary photographer and friend of late photojournalist Peter Magubane, recalled that Magubane was "at the forefront" of many historical moments as he captured them through his lens.
The award-winning photojournalist is best known for documenting inequality during apartheid, including the 16 June Soweto Uprising in 1976.
