Social worker John GI Clarke has left his Blairgowrie home to stay in Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal, after 10 days of having no electricity in Johannesburg.
This after an almost two-decade-long dispute with the City of Johannesburg over a R21 000 electricity bill.
Clarke's electricity was cut on 19 April despite an ongoing matter with the City Ombudsman over the bill, which he said was paid in full in August 2008.
