On Tuesday morning in Johannesburg, a school minibus collided with a taxi, resulting in minor injuries to six pupils.
According to the spokesperson for the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department, Superintendent Xolani Fihla, one of the drivers was in the wrong lane.
"The taxi was travelling in the wrong lane, disregarding road traffic signals, when he crashed into the scholar transport. Upon arrival at the scene, the taxi driver was not found, and it was alleged that he fled the scene after the accident occurred," Fihla said.
