Sexy Boys gang founder and killer Michael Booysen's bid for release was endorsed by parole authorities but blocked by Justice and Correctional Services Minister Ronald Lamola.
This because of a secret State Security Agency (SSA) report whose contents remain unknown.
Lamola's office confirmed he "made a decision [on Booysen's parole] based on information provided by the State Security Agency" but said he "reconsidered this position in light [of] several factors including the fact the information before [him] could not be declassified".
