"My grandparents were born here, and they used to drink with animals, my parents also grew up drinking water with animals and now my son and I drink with animals too," said a Giyani, Limpopo resident.
Residents of the drought-stricken Siyandhani village said they were forced to drink dirty water with their animals as the municipality failed to deliver clean drinking water.
Locals told News24 they have no other choice but to drink water from a well as most taps in the area have run dry.
