The University of Cape Town (UCT) acting vice-chancellor Professor Daya Reddy has denied that former Eskom boss Matshela Koko was invited to lecture students on ethics and professionalism.
In Reddy's statement on Wednesday, he said he wished to "set the record straight".
Reddy said final-year engineering students had been assigned with writing an opinion piece on Koko's term as acting Eskom CEO, "using all information available in the public domain, as part of a case study on ethics and professionalism".
