Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan told the judicial commission of inquiry into state capture that he does not claim to have full knowledge of everything to do with state capture, but is providing a "piece of the jigsaw puzzle".

Gordhan began his much-awaited testimony on Monday. The EFF and Black First Land First demonstrated outside the building, this after revelations that he also met with the controversial Gupta family surfaced.

"Those who are attacking us have something to hide, something to protect, something to distract the public with. The question is what? I suppose that will come out at some stage or another," Gordhan said.

Watch as Pieter du Toit, News24 assistant editor of in-depth news, and journalist Tshidi Madia unpack Gordan's revelations.
