This week on POLOTIKI, the VBS saga continues to unfold. Julius Malema and his political party are back in court, this time fighting the Riotous Assembly Act and Hlaudi Motsoeneng makes a "historical" announcement. LISTEN.

The controversial former SABC COO has thrown his hat in the ring to become South Africa's next president with the announcement of his new political party – the African Content Movement (ACM).

Speaking on Thursday in Johannesburg, the self-confessed "wonderful person" made bold statements about bringing change to the country.

ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe also hogged the headlines as it was revealed that his former personal assistant has accused him of sexual harassment. 

The 26-year-old, who asked not to be named, presented her case before the ANC's grievance committee on Wednesday, with some ANC Youth League branches calling for Mabe to step down.

And the VBS Mutual Bank scandal claimed its first set of victims when the ANC in Limpopo instructed seven mayors to resign.
