The judicial commission of inquiry into allegations of state capture will continue on Tuesday with testimony from Johann Bester.

Bester is Eskom's fuel supply general manager.

The power utility's Gert Opperman on Monday told the commission that in 2015, he twice received phone calls from former acting CEO Matshela Koko instructing him to accept that sub-standard coal be forwarded to Majuba power station.

Standard Bank's former head of compliance, Ian Sinton, is also expected to take the stand.
